31st of August

As the clock strikes 12 midnight, every Malaysian wished each other Happy Merdeka. It has been 53 years since we have our own independent day stretching back to 31 August 1957 but as for Sarawak n Sabah, they joined Malaysia on the 16 September 1963.

but i don't feel the spirit here maybe because everyone is in the mode of 'studying' due to the midsem test this week. mcm hapa jak kan? watever. Power Quality's paper is next but im more into Control System right now. *nerding mode is ON on Merdeka Day*

what does Merdeka means to u? to me Merdeka is freedom for us to love our neighbours around us. sometimes, i wish that Sarawak become an independent state just like Singapore & Brunei because today i dont see Sarawak gets benefits in term of economy, technology and etc. May God bless Malaysia!
